I want to talk for a few minutes during our time together today on this subject: I’m just here to serve. Clap your hands if you’re ready for God’s word! I want to ease into this introduction with a question. It’s not a question for reflection; it’s not a rhetorical question; it’s a question that warrants a response. Here’s the question: Are there any dreamers in this house? Okay, I’m going to say that one more time because I’m expecting increased enthusiasm. Are there any dreamers in this house? Yeah! When I say «dreamers,» I’m not referring to people who see things with the eyes in their heads. When I say «dreamer,» I’m referring to people who see things with the eyes in their hearts. The eyes in your head give you sight, but the eyes in your heart give you vision. The eyes in your head help you see today, but the eyes in your heart help you see tomorrow. The eyes in your head help you see around the corner, but the eyes in your heart help you see over the hill. The eyes in your head help you see your present predicament, but the eyes in your heart help you see your future possibility, exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think. There are some people who think you’re insane in the membrane because they are looking at your present circumstance, and they do not understand how you’re maintaining such expectation. They look at your life and say your attitude doesn’t match your adversity when they don’t realize they are just looking with the eyes in their head. You see something with the eyes in your heart; you believe that sooner or later it’s going to turn in your favor. Am I talking to anybody who would say, «If I just look with these eyes, I’d be sad and sulking right now, but because I believe God’s going to do something that eyes haven’t seen and ears haven’t heard, and my heart hasn’t conceived, this is why I can be in the midst of pain and still give Him praise.» You are confused because you don’t know, like I know, what the Lord is getting ready to do for me. Dreamers, somebody say vision! This is important because the late great Dr. Myles Munroe said this: the poorest person in the world is not the person who has no money. He says the poorest person in the world is the person who has no vision. A person without vision for their future will always go back to their past. Let me see if you’ll feel this. The 10 o’clock service felt it; I’m going to see how you feel. In other words, let me break it down a little more: a person who doesn’t have a vision for their next will always keep running back to their ex. Not talking to me? When you have vision, you begin to see that everything that was with you in the past can go back to you in the future. One of the greatest gifts you can ever receive is the gift of clarity. As your pastor, if there’s anything I would pray fervently for you, it would be for the gift of clarity. Not cars, not cribs, not clothes, but clarity. Not cars, not cribs, not clothes, but clarity. Not cars, not cribs, not clothes, but clarity! Because clarity gives you the highest form of compensation, and the highest form of compensation is not finances. The highest form of compensation is fulfillment. When you wake up every day and look in the mirror, you should like what you see, who you’re with, and what you’re doing. God, give me clarity! It’s essential; it’s important. This is why the enemy aggressively tries to interfere with it. If he can’t… did you hear what I just said? If he can’t get you to be corrupt, his next step is to try to get you to be unclear. This is why confusion is really an expression of spiritual warfare because the Bible says God is not, come on church, He is not the author of confusion! So, if God isn’t the author of confusion, who is? The enemy is the author of confusion. He wants you confused about what you’re supposed to be doing, when you’re supposed to be doing it, who you’re supposed to be doing it with, who’s supposed to be in your life, and who’s supposed to be out. Y’all not talking to me? I’m praying for everybody in this room and online. If this is the year of multiplication, this is the year where God multiplies your clarity! I pray that over you: you will be clearer than you’ve ever been! I said you will be clearer than you’ve ever been! The enemy doesn’t want this because the enemy understands that your calling on your street requires clarity. Clarity is complicated—extraordinarily complicated—for the gifted. Did you hear what I just said? Clarity is complicated, extraordinarily complicated, for the gifted because the more gifted you are, the more avenues you could take. So, the gifted don’t ask, «What could I do?» The gifted ask, «What should I do?» God, which route do You want me to take? Calling requires clarity, and the enemy understands this. This is why he fights aggressively to keep you unclear; he’ll use individuals to keep you unclear—people who impose their opinions about your life when it’s unsolicited.
