If we think we can be more like Christ by our own righteousness, if somehow we think we can be more like Christ through our own righteousness, it's actually the sin of unbelief in his righteousness that was given as a gift. So, he gave us his righteousness as a gift, but we don't believe in this righteousness as a gift. We only believe in our own righteousness. That's unbelief.
