What’s up, everybody? Hope you’re doing fantastic! Listen, I hope you’re safe, and I hope you’re sane. I mean, we all may have a bit of cabin fever as we are locked into our homes, but we believe that’s the smart thing. Faith without works is dead, and I want you to know I love you. I’m praying for us every day. As a matter of fact, every morning at 7:00 a.m., we have a prayer call called the «Corona Revival.» The calling information is coming up on the screens. If you didn’t call in this morning, we’re praying every morning at 7:00 a.m. until we see a breakthrough with this virus. We do believe prayer changes things. I want to give you a couple of moments to come in. For those of you who are already joining, let me know where you’re coming from. It matters so much to us that you’re here and that you see this ministry as a trusted source of spiritual nourishment for you. I believe that one of the most valuable parts of who we all are is our hearts, and who you choose to allow to speak into that is a really, really big choice. Thank you for allowing us to be one of the voices that adds value to what God is doing in your life. I’m excited about today; I really am, because we get a chance to do some teaching. I’m teaching right from the couch, and this is what I’ve learned: we all need inspiration, but you don’t have to have inspiration. Watch this: everything doesn’t have to be inspirational to be transformational. All right, I’m going to say that again: we all need inspiration, but everything doesn’t have to be inspirational to be transformational. We need inspiration, but I believe there are times when we need some education and some revelation, and I believe God will give us that through His Word. So I’m going to begin today a three-part Bible study on the mind. It’s called «Free Your Mind,» and I believe God’s Word provides a blueprint on how we can actually do that. That’s what I want to spend the next three weeks talking to us about. Today is part one, and what I’m going to do is make space for you to ask questions. So right here, coming up on the screen, is going to be a number that you can text your questions to. We’re going to compile those, review them, and combine some of them. At the end of the 7:00 p.m. teaching—I’m teaching this at 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m.—I’ll do a brief period of Q&A where I’ll try to address some of those questions, and hopefully, it adds some value to your life. I want to read a scripture; to me, this is the foundational scripture for the series. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, «The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.» Listen to this: «We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every single thought and make it obedient to Christ.» Family, there’s a quote I read years ago, and I want to share it with you even in this introduction; I feel like it’s important. The quote is, «You don’t change your life by changing your life; you change your life by changing your mind.» I’m going to say it again: «You don’t change your life by changing your life; you change your life by changing your mind.» I believe the Bible corroborates this claim in Romans 12:2. This is what the Bible says: «Don’t be conformed.» I know how many will remember Plato’s concept of conformity. «Don’t be conformed to the pattern of this world,» meaning the patterns, trends, practices, and social norms. He’s saying, «Listen, don’t pattern your life after that.» Listen to this. Why not? Not because God’s way is just the right way; it’s because God’s way is better. He says that pattern, that trend, that social norm is going to lead to destruction. So He says, «Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed.» How? How, family? By the renewing of your mind. If I want to become a new me, I must be willing to pursue a new mind. Let me say that again: if I want to become a new me, I must be willing to pursue a new mind. The Bible also puts it this way: Paul says, «Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.» He says, «Watch this: don’t just have the morals of Christ, but pursue the mind of Christ.» In other words, if I’m going to talk like Christ, I need to think like Christ. This is important, family, because I believe missing this is probably one of the most essential and overlooked aspects of transformation and elevation, the transformation of the self and elevation in life. People miss the mind, and the mind is everything because you and I will always go to the next level headfirst. Somebody needs to type that just in case someone missed it: we will always go to the next level headfirst. Once your head gets out, everything else is on the way. Someone watching this should be extremely excited about your future. You should be able to communicate, confess, and express with confidence that you’re on your way somewhere—not because your life is there yet, but because your…
