The very fact the nation of Israel exists today is proof enough that God’s Word is true, and that we can rely on His promises. He is a God who can be counted on to keep His Word, and the one who gave us a spirit and a soul that lives forever.

Israel turned a blind eye to the Lord. They didn’t listen or consider His warning that other nations will come to destroy them if they refuse to walk in obedience to His Word. But, now Isaiah tells them that the Lord is merciful, and will save them, even though they did it to themselves when they sinned against Him.

God isn’t done with the nation of Israel. Thousands of Jews are coming back to their Homeland. And, one of God’s great plans for America was to be the tool by which Israel will be restored.
