The Liberty Bell has engraved upon it Leviticus 25:10. Why would the Colonies be interested in ringing a bell that had a Bible verse on it? And what was the basis for this "declaration"? And why would a group of politicians think it important that a bell should have a Bible verse crafted onto it and displayed? And where did they get this idea of 'Liberty" and what did they mean by "Liberty" We know for sure that their definition of Liberty was directly connected, not with the bell itself -- but with the Bible verse upon that bell. Our founders believed that the Word of God was the one and only foundation for a free people.

"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country." Charles E. Weller 1867. I would like to issue the same challenge today. The time is now, not tomorrow, not next year, but now - that we trust God to be our protector and defender as we reject apathy and complacency. In fact the Bible teaches that we are to invade our culture for righteousness.
