Jack Hibbs - Thy Kingdom Come

Isaiah is now entering the time of the Millennium, which is the thousand-year reign of Christ on the earth. When every true believer prays “Thy Kingdom come”, it really is our desire for the Lord to come. Our future in God’s kingdom will be filled with joy, as we experience our Savior in all of His glory.

God will heal our brokenness, our diseases, and our emotional suffering. We won’t be subject to death, but will be eternal. God is literally going to create a new paradise on earth, without the effects of sin and its curse that fell upon mankind in the Garden of Eden.

During His 1,000-year Reign on earth, Jesus will set up a perfect government in His Kingdom. For the Christ follower, God’s Kingdom is both a physical place, and a spiritual one that is inside of us. Where Jesus Christ, and His Word will reign above all else in our lives.
