John K. Jenkins Sr - A Walk Through Romans, Chapter 4

Praise the Lord! Good evening, everybody! Welcome tonight to this Bible study. I am so thankful and grateful for this time we have to study the Word of God together. Thank you for joining us, wherever you are in the world. Sometimes, I like to start off by giving a shout-out to people from different places around the globe. I’m truly thankful that God has blessed us with the opportunity and privilege of serving individuals in a multitude of states and countries. Let me give a shout-out to all of you tonight for joining us on this Tuesday night.

Again, I would like to express my gratitude for all the birthday love; I am so grateful for all the kindness shown to me on my 65th birthday. I was overwhelmed by the support from our church — the text messages, the cards, the hugs, and the love. All of it means so much to me. I consider it a divine honor to be the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Graft and I am thankful for that. If you have not seen my celebration, I urge you to go back to YouTube, find it, and watch it; it was a great celebration. If you weren’t able to attend, or even if you were, please watch it again. It was worshipful, and I was excited that we were giving God praise for what He has done in my life and through my ministry. I never dreamed I would be doing the things I am doing and reaching the people I am reaching. It has truly blown me away.

From the depths of my heart, I thank Almighty God, the First Baptist Church, and the friends of our ministry who show me so much love and encouragement. I am blessed beyond words and want to express my deep thanks. I also want to thank you all for buying my book-my first official book release. Though I’ve been included in other books, this is my first solo project, and it’s called «Grace to Grow.» If you haven 't gotten it yet, I urge you to do so. I have been blessed to meet people who have read the book and shared how much they have learned and how it has impacted their lives.

I’m going to pray in just a moment, and then we will address a couple of questions we received after last week’s Bible study. They came in late, so I didn’t have a chance to answer them. So let’s pray, and take a moment:

Father, thank you for waking us up and giving us the activities of our limbs. We worship and praise You for being an awesome and great God. Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Thank You, Father, for opening doors, forgiving our sins, and bringing us to a place of deliverance and freedom. For that, Father, we give our sincere thanks and deep gratitude. We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would be in charge of our lives, that You would call the shots, and that You would rule and reign in every nook and cranny of our lives. This is our prayer tonight. We ask that Your name receive glory through how we live and serve Your kingdom. We pray that You would meet our needs as fathers and mothers of Your sons and daughters. We pray that You would feed us, providing spiritually and physically whatever we stand in need of. Amen.
