#610 - Joseph Prince - God Is Good Even When Times Are Bad - Part 4

Just a word also to all the pastors and leaders and I include myself, like I said just now, friend, how are we representing God to the people, the people of the world? They think that we are all a bunch of people who are out to get them, point out their sins, you know, find fault with them. They think that we are mean people, and our holiness has no joy sometimes. We look like we are baptized in lemon juice.

You know, friend, I don't think that's the way to represent God. I believe that we represent God according to the grace of his heart. We tell the people, "God loves you," but they'll say, "I have sin in my life. I know I don't qualify". No, you come to Jesus as you are and he will qualify you. He's not counting your sins against you, amen. He love you. While you were a sinner, Christ died for you. Your sins is no more a barrier between you and God, so come home. Christ took care of your sins.

So often we forget and our words demonstrate that we forget, amen. We'll say, "Where is God in all this? How come God didn't come through for me," you know? And all the while, God is presenting the high priest. He's presenting to you when he says, "Take the rod. Take the high priest's rod, the high priest's staff". Our hearts should leap for joy. He's saying to you, "The provision is coming because you have a high priest". It's not like you don't have a high priest. You have a high priest and because you have a high priest, amen, good things are coming your way, amen? You might be in trouble but that trouble is temporal, amen, friend? You have a high priest. Therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, amen, amen, amen, amen. Praise the Lord.
