Our job, pastors and leaders, is to remind people that they are the beloved of the Lord, that the Son of God loved me and gave himself for me. You know, Paul could have said, "The Son of God loved us," but he said, "The Son of God loved me and gave himself for me," amen?

My friend, he's gonna love you to the end, amen? Every single day, he's gonna love you. And the apostle Paul made it very personal for himself. He says, "The Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me," amen? If you are faced with any challenge right now, just forget about the challenge and just put your hand on your heart and say somewhere where you can be alone and say, "The Son of God loved me and gave himself for me". If you are waiting for the doctor's report, amen, just say, "The Son of God loved me. Jesus loved me," amen. And keep on meditating on it and relish it, savor it. That's why we take communion. Every time we take communion, it's to remember him. In what aspect? His love for you, demonstrated at the cross.

You can be, really, a poor man with plenty of money, but still poor inside because only Jesus can fill that void.
