The mainstay of the pulpit is not correction. It's feeding, feeding, feeding. Your people are hungry.

When you go to the pulpit, you must have the confidence, regardless of how they look, that they are hungry. People are hungry. They want to hear something that will feed them, amen. And no subject is better than the Lord himself. He's the bread of life.

I spend a lot of time in the gospels because in the gospels, I see the beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You must not just teach from a distance; they gotta feel your embrace. Pastors and leaders, they gotta feel your embrace. They gotta feel that, "That pastor cares for us. We are important".

Grace teaches people from inside; you preach grace and grace will teach. Grace is an amazing teacher.
