The Lord told me to tell you that when all of your enemies come together to put you on trial, at the end of the day, this is what’s going to happen: it’s going to be a hung jury. It’s going to be a hung jury. I want you to touch everybody on your way down to your seat and tell them it’s a hung jury. It’s a hung jury. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord. I don’t think I need to explain this, but I’m going to do it for those who may not understand what a jury is. A jury is a body of people, typically 12, sworn in to give a verdict in a legal case based on the evidence submitted in a court of law. When those people come together to ascertain whether or not the person on the defense is guilty, they all have a vote. They basically have two options: they can say either you’re guilty or not guilty. Notice you’ve never heard anyone come into the jury box and stand up. The foreman stands up and says, «We, the jury, find the defendant innocent,» because you can be found not guilty and still be guilty. Not guilty doesn’t mean you didn’t do it; not guilty means that the defense attorney did not present sufficient evidence to prove that you are guilty of the crime that is ascertained, listen, beyond a reasonable doubt. That means that 11 people can say you did it, but if one person says you didn’t, then they have to do it all over again. And if they can’t come to a decision, the jury is hung. You have no consequences for the crime. Watch this: even if you are guilty, the burden of proof is on the other attorney to say, «We know beyond a shadow of a doubt we’ve got this evidence, we have this proclivity, we have this reason, this person is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.» How many of y’all know what I’m talking about so far? All right, let’s just put that over on this side. Now, what is estimated in the United States of America right now, as we stand, is about 2.4 billion people who say they are Christians. Okay, now we don’t really get this in our minds because when we go to church, probably eight or nine out of 10 people in this room would say they believe in Christ. You step out of this room, you walk down the street, you go to the mall, you go to your job. The truth is, seven out of every 10 people you come into contact with don’t believe in Jesus. So think about that staggering number: seven out of 10 people are walking around with no idea that Jesus is the Christ. Here 's the problem: the Bible says there’s no way to the Father except by the Son. Now, I know, I know we live in this inclusivity of a world where there are many ways to God and you can call God by all these different names. I’m not here to argue that on the merit, but I do know that whatever you call your higher power, which I believe is Yahweh, there is no way to Yahweh except through Jesus Christ, who is the only way. For he said in his own words, which got him in trouble: " I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the light, and no one gets to the Father except by me. I am the door.» He is the lily of the valley, and he is the bright and morning star. He 's the rose of Sharon. He’s the Great I Am. He’s Ezekiel 's wheel in the middle of the wheel. He is God, and beside him, there is none other. Does anybody get excited about that? Yes, sir! And we as Christians have our rhythm. We find out it’s Easter; we celebrate. We move on to Pentecost; we celebrate. Then we go on hiatus until Christmas. It’s the truth: we have Palm Sunday, Resurrection Sunday. Some people are so saved that if you say «Easter,» they think you’re practicing witchcraft. Then you go from there. Fifty days after the resurrection is Pentecost when the Bible says that there came the sound of a mighty rushing wind, and the Holy Ghost sat on the church. When he came into the church, the scripture says that they all began to speak in unknown tongues. There is no doubt that the people who were there spoke different languages, but when the Holy Ghost comes in, he finds a way to take your language and my language and put us on the same frequency so that even though we’re not speaking the same language, we hear the same story. The Holy Ghost sat on the church; there came the sound of a mighty rushing wind, and everybody was on one accord. And when everybody got on one accord, the scripture says that 3,000 souls were saved and came to the church. You 'd be surprised at how quickly your family would get together if the people at the top would come together. You’d be surprised at the power we could have in this room if everybody would get on one accord. Can we just exercise for a minute? Because I know some of y’all came because you want people to see your outfit; some of y’all came because you just want to stamp the ticket and check the box and say you came. But whatever the case is, whatever you did when you left the house, for whatever reason you drove here, can we all get on the same page and say we came to…
