You don’t have to respond to every criticism, accusation, or negativity you face with an argument. Sometimes you have to let your results be your response. In Numbers 16 and 17, Korah, Dathan, Abiram and the children of Israel rebelled against Moses and Aaron’s leadership. But Moses and Aaron did not respond, God responded. Aaron’s rod budded and blossomed to show that he was the leader God picked. This is a season of increase and God is about to give you divine proof and evidence to silence the naysayers and doubters. God will give you an increase that will stop the insult.

On your way to your seat, say, «The increase will stop the insults.» Amen! I preach with the keys, so we’ll probably preach together. Um, I’m African, so we just preach with the keys; maybe an F will do. They don’t play now because I’m going to start wrapping up the sermon. He knows what I mean; don’t worry. Someone said, «The increase will stop the insults.» I read an article the other day that said that in over 50 years, there has not been a commercial plane crash solely as a result of turbulence. Think about it: over 50 years, over half a century, there has not been a single commercial plane crash due to turbulence. Now, that is good news for those who sleep through turbulence. But for people like me, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a little turbulence; you’ve got to pray for me! God is still working on me, right? And some of you are like, «No, no, no!» But when you get there, you begin to speak in tongues. But that’s a different conversation. For people like me, I’m still—listen, God is still working on that part of me. But there’s just something about being suspended 20,000 feet in the air with the plane rattling that just doesn’t sit right with me. Listen, I love traveling; we travel to get to the place. I love the destination, but I don’t love the transportation. The truth about flying is that turbulence is a part of flying. In fact, one of my friends put it this way: turbulence is the price that you pay for flying high. Turbulence is the price you pay for flying high. What this means is that when I paid for my ticket, I paid for turbulence. What this means is that when I paid for my seat assignment, I paid for turbulence. What this means is that when I paid for my excess luggage, I paid for turbulence because turbulence is part of flying. The only way to escape turbulence is not to fly. So when the journey of life and destiny occurs, it’s almost like you are on a flight that comes with positives and negatives. The positive is that you can slide the window and see the beautiful bird’s-eye view of the cloudscapes, the beauty of nature, and it’s awesome. The downside is that there will be turbulence. In the same vein, when you pay the price for greatness, it comes with a season of turbulence. It comes with the turbulence of criticism. When you pay the price and you’re on the flight of destiny, when you pay the price for greatness, it comes with the turbulence of negativity. It comes with the turbulence of enemies, naysayers, and backbiters. But you must realize that turbulence is the prize you pay for flying high. So criticism is like turbulence; you cannot stay in high—if you cannot deal with a bad attitude, you are not ready for the top. If you cannot handle being the topic, you’ve got to make up your mind. People are going to talk about you, and you cannot be emotional about this. You cannot be high maintenance and be a high flyer; you’ve got to pick one. You have to choose one. There are a lot of things that change when you fly. You’ve got to turn your phone on airplane mode because everybody cannot be connected with you. There are some people who have to be on the ground floor; they cannot be connected with you on your way to your destiny. I came to announce to you that when your elevation changes, your associations should change. There are people that you should lose connection with on your way to your destiny. The closer you get to your calling, the smaller your circle should be. You need to understand that a plane that is parked does not experience turbulence. So turbulence is God’s way of telling you your life has taken off. Some of you have been wondering, «Why am I experiencing turbulent seasons in my life? Why is my boss micromanaging me? Why is my business going under? What is up with my kids? They’re going crazy. What is wrong with my money? Why is my health failing?» I came to announce to you—news flash! —your life has taken off. Turbulence is God letting you know that you are no longer on the ground floor; you are going to the next dimension. You are going to the next level! I don’t know if I have anyone in this room who will say, «I’ve left the ground level; I’m about to move to the next level!» Somebody shout, «Your life has taken off! Your life has taken off! You’re about to land in blessings! You’re about to land on breakthroughs! Miracles, signs, and wonders! Miracles, signs, and wonders! Miracles, signs, and wonders!» Who did I come for this morning? I said, «Miracles, signs, and wonders!» As a miracle, thank you. You have the power to land. I know it’s turbulent right now, but turbulence is the price you pay for flying high. Don’t you know you’re a high flyer? Don’t you know greater is He that is in you?
