Very often when you’re setting out to obey God, that’s when an attack takes place. That’s what happened to Jesus and the disciples the night they were crossing the sea of Galilee on their way to the Gadarenes. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, a storm arose that threatened to capsize their boat and drown everyone in the middle of the night. It was an attempt of the devil to stop Jesus from getting to other side where those demon-possessed men were so He could minister to them and set them free. Just as we can’t see wind, we wrestle against invisible forces that come against us too. We can feel the effects of a spiritual attack, but we can’t see that sinister enemy with our eyes.
