Seed can't grow until it's sown. The Word of God won't produce anything in your life until that Word has been sown in your heart. As long as you leave that Bible on the coffee table and keep it closed, you should not ever expect to receive anything from it because seed in the bag in the barn won't grow corn. You got to take the seed out of the bag, put it in good ground, take care of it, and it'll grow corn. So likewise, the Word of God in the Bible on the coffee table will not produce fruit in your life.
