Dharius Daniels - Make Me An Answer

Let’s begin reading at verse number five. I’m trying to see if I’m going to get through all of this today. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth, the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats brim over with new wine. I want to stop the reading of Scripture there and talk on this subject during our time together: «Lord, make me an answer.» Clap your hands, 130, if you’re ready for God’s word! Ladies and gentlemen, I want to start this sermon by informing some of you and reminding others who are already aware of this: your existence is not by chance; it is by God’s choice. Okay, I need to reemphasize that your existence is not by chance; it is by God’s choice. You are not the consequence of some cosmic coincidence, nor are you the result of some relational accident. Your parents may not have planned your arrival, but God did. The circumstances surrounding your birth may have been deemed unfortunate by others, but the God who makes no mistakes intentionally and strategically orchestrated your existence on Earth in this era for such a time as this. As one spiritual leader frequently states, great men and women are only born for the time they are needed the most. And I don’t know if you receive this, but I’m going to speak this into and over you: it’s your time! Did you hear what I just said? It means that we should not be shaken or stressed based on what is taking place in our world during the era we live in. You were born for this time, and if you were born for this time, you’ve been built for whatever has happened. Do you not know God built you by design? The way you exist was constructed with purpose in mind! Come on, do you hear what I just said? Do you not know that your strengths are not random, that your personality is not a mishap? And I can say this with confidence because I’m drawing from a conversation God had with Jeremiah when He told him in Jeremiah chapter one, «Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew you.» Watch what He says: «I formed you.» The only thing your parents could do was conceive you; I formed you. Your strengths? I gave you that. Your tenderness? I gave you that. Your abilities? I gave you that. Your personality? I gave you that. Your uniqueness? I gave you that. This is why you should stop apologizing to people for how you’ve been made. They don’t know what you’ve been made for anyway! You’re allowing people to have conversations about your calling when they weren’t around when God called you. You’ve got purpose—yes, purpose! The reason for the existence of a thing, and that reason is unique and universal at the same time. Universally, no matter how it expresses itself uniquely, purpose is an answer to a problem. Purpose is an answer to a problem. Purpose is an answer to a problem—yes, sir! Purpose is an answer to a problem. It is because God saw a problem and arranged your existence because purpose is an answer to a problem. The car solves a transportation problem; light solves a darkness problem; the microphone solves a volume problem. Because purpose solves a problem, when a person becomes aware of their purpose, they become aware of the problem they’ve been created to solve. When a person becomes aware of their assignment, they realize they are an answer. And I don’t know if the person sitting next to you knows who they are sitting beside—good God Almighty! They may not know your name; they may not know your background; they may not know where you come from. But what they do need to know is that they are sitting next to an answer! I need the 130 to help me like we’re at a Pentecostal church! I said they need to know they are sitting next to an answer. That when you walked in, an answer walked in! People in your life need to assess and recognize that they are in a relationship with an answer. This is not for every service, but maybe it’s for the 130 service. I just need to talk to the single sisters for a minute. Anyone who puts a ring on your finger needs to know they are putting a ring on the finger of an answer. When I come into your life—let me go to this side—when I come into your life, things are about to get better. Things are about to be upgraded. You’re about to experience a quantum leap! Make me an answer! God uses people to be answers to issues in other people’s lives. God uses people to be answers to issues in other people’s lives. God uses people to be answers to issues in other people’s lives! When people don’t allow God to use them to be answers to issues in other people’s lives, then Satan uses people to be problems in other people’s lives. Did you hear what I just said? God uses people to be answers to issues in other people’s lives. It’s what we call, in academic and theological circles, incarnational ministry. God became a person; God Himself saw that people had a sin problem that they could not fix on their own.
