Won’t be something you won’t be without for long, because hunger will make you go hunting. I’ve got to get out of here; we have another service. But is there anybody here who will say it’s hunting season? I’m hungry! If I don’t have it, I’m going to go and get it. If I don’t know it, I’m going to figure it out. If I can’t find it, I’m going to look under the couch, knock on doors, go through windows, and read books. Because I am hungry! And he’s afraid of your hunger. But he’s not just a God of power and family; he’s a God of principles. Let the church say principles! Yeah, principles are rules of operation for a thing that come from the Creator of that thing to ensure the protection, preservation, and productivity of that thing. Let me say it one more time—I wanted to be a rapper! Here it is: principles are rules of operation for a thing that come from the Creator of that thing that ensure the protection, preservation, and productivity of that thing. One more time for the Holy Ghost: principles are rules of operation for a thing that come from the Creator of that thing that ensure the protection, preservation, and productivity of that thing. Somebody say principles! God is a God of principles. Listen to this, family: when principles are ignored, abuse is inevitable. Did you hear what I just said? When principles are ignored, abuse is inevitable. When I ignore God’s principles for my body, abuse is inevitable. When I ignore God’s principles for my mind, abuse is inevitable. When I ignore God’s principles for my heart, abuse is inevitable. Power is assistance, but the principle is the avenue; it is the path to what God promises. It is Him giving you direction on what He declares. You don’t get peace just by praying; you get peace by principles. «Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.» He said you don’t get that by praying for it; you get that by placing your mind on the right thing. He says you can’t place your mind on something that is not peaceful and expect it to give you peace. Am I making sense? Come on now! We don’t get peace by praying; we get peace by principles. We don’t get an amazing relationship by praying; we get an amazing relationship by principles. We don’t get stable resources just by praying; we get stable resources by principles. Our time—watch this—our potential is tied and tethered to our awareness of, and implementation of, principles. And this the enemy understands, which is why he aggressively attempts to keep us uninformed. He does not mind us being inspired as long as we’re uninformed. He does not mind us being enthusiastic as long as we are uninformed. He doesn’t mind us being excited in church as long as we don’t learn anything while we’re there. Are you hearing what I’m saying, family? The Bible calls this «zeal not according to knowledge.» He doesn’t mind us being inspired as long as we are ignorant. And ignorance isn’t just the absence of information; ignorance is the absence of accurate information and it is expensive. Wave at me on this side if I’m making sense! I said ignorance is expensive. Whatever area we are ignorant in, we suffer in. But I want to announce to you; this is why the enemy is upset with you. There are several reasons, but there’s one thing I want to highlight that he hates about you: he hates your hunger! Did you hear what I just said? This may be one of the reasons you are dealing with so many unexplainable and unfortunate realities. You are confused because you know what you don’t have, but he isn’t looking at what you don’t have; he’s looking at what you do have. And he’s way more intimidated by what you do have than he is concerned about what you don’t have, because he knows how little what you don’t have matters. Did you hear what I just said? He says you are looking at what you don’t have; you’re looking at what you are not, and you’re exalting what you are not above what you are. He’s not afraid of what you are not; he’s afraid of what you are! He believes in you more than you do because hunger is dangerous for him. He’s afraid of hunger! Hunger is scary for him because he knows whatever you don’t have is something you won’t be without for long, because you have hunger. I’m going to say that one more time: hunger is scary for him because he knows whatever you don’t have will be something you won’t be without for long! Because hunger will make you go hunting. And people who aren’t hungry don’t understand why you’re going all the way up there. You tell them you’re looking for convenience. I’m looking for the next level; you’re looking for something easy. I’m looking for something that’s going to elevate me. So if I’ve got to drive to get it, I’ll drive to get it because I’m hungry! And he’s looking at that hunger.
