John K. Jenkins Sr - 10 Spiritual Blessings - Part 4

Hallelujah, Father! We honor You this morning; we worship You. We give You the praise, the glory, and the honor, Father. As we come before You today, we pray and intercede, giving You praise for being a great God. Thank You for the miracles You've wrought and the prayers You've answered. God, thank You for inclining Your ear to our cry. Father, we come in the name of Jesus, praying that Your will would be done and that Your perfect rule would reign in the lives of the persons whose hands we now hold, whose names we are calling out to Your throne. God, You've been in charge ; You order their steps, bring miracles, and cause breakthroughs in their lives. You cause chains to fall off, doors to open, and miracles to happen in the name of the Lord. You know what they stand in need of. We don't know the details of their circumstances, but Father, we know that You know. So we pray in the name of Jesus for You to work it out, to fix it, and to repair it. We pray, Father, as we intercede not only for the persons whose hands we hold, but also for our brothers and sisters from around the world who join us through technology. We ask that You would transcend technology and let Your anointing touch them right where they are, whether it be on television, radio, or the internet. Wherever they are, God, just transcend location and make the Word fresh, real, and plain, and work miracles in their lives. Father, I'm praying that You would save someone today who needs salvation. I pray that You would reclaim those who have backslid and cause them to come forth. I pray for those who lack assurance to come forward. I pray for those who are believers but not settled anywhere. Lord, don't let them push it off another day; cause them to come forth and yield to Your will and Your Word in the name of Jesus. Now, Father, I pray a hedge around this place. I pray that You would rebuke the demonic spirits that want to infiltrate and bring confusion, fear, and doubt. I welcome the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit to do what He chooses to do in this place. Father, be in charge; rule and reign, and we give You the glory and the honor in Jesus' name. Amen, amen, and amen. Praise Him! Give Him a shout of praise and a shout of glory! Amen! Hallelujah!

All right, you can be seated, and very quickly, grab your Bible, your iPhone, your iPad, your Android, your Galaxy, your Samsung-whatever you read the Bible on-and turn to the book of Ephesians. I am in a series; today is part four of a series we're doing called "10 Spiritual Blessings." We've already covered five of the ten spiritual blessings, and today we're going to cover number six and number seven. I want to know how many people have been here for all four; let me see the hands of the truly saved people who have been here all four-hold your hands up high. Amen! I love you! Let me see those who have been here for three of the four. Okay, I kind of love y'all! Let me see those who've been here for two of the three. Let me see-you all here? Yeah, let me see-this is your first one; those of you for whom this is your first time here? (Heathens! Heathens!) Okay, all right, praise the Lord! Let me invite your attention to Ephesians chapter 1. Let me just, very quickly, rehearse what we've covered so far. The Apostle Paul writes to the church in Ephesus in this book called Ephesians, giving them pertinent information that I think is important today for you to be everything God wants you to be. This church was a dynamic church; they changed their own lives, and their community was changed. The reason they were impacting lives was that they understood their position in Christ. What Paul does in the first three chapters of the book of Ephesians is talk about our position. I'm going to come back and talk about that for a moment. In the second three chapters of Ephesians-chapters 4, 5, and 6- he talks about the practice of Christianity: how to live your life, how to be married, how to raise your kids, and how to work on your job. He discusses the practice of being a Christian. But the first three chapters focus on the importance of understanding your position. We are trying to get you as Christians to comprehend your position. If you don't know what your position is, the devil can defeat you in every area of your life. It is critical that you understand your position. We've spent some time discussing what our position is and what He says about us. I also have been talking about this because Paul says in verse three that we have been blessed. In verse three of chapter 1, God has blessed us; Jesus has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. I wanted to talk about spiritual blessings because we want to be a church that gets excited not just about carnal blessings, but also about spiritual blessings. Amen! Let me thank the five of y'all for clapping your hands at that very profound point, because I'm tired of going to churches and conferences where people are prophesying, preaching, and shouting.
