You can have an Upper Room reality or experience anywhere: in your kitchen, in your closet, in your car... God wants to be involved in your life. It is important to realize that the events of the Upper Room did not take place in a religious context — they took place in someone’s house. God will meet you wherever you will surrender to Him.
Second Corinthians 13:14 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.” The word communion there is “koinonia” and it is often used to describe family relationships. The Holy Spirit is family, and since He’s family, He wants to come home with us and commune with us! Learn more about this wonderful subject on tonight’s Home Group!
