Rick Renner - Our Time in Ft. Smith, AR

Rick was drawn to Ft. Smith, Arkansas, after being invited to attend a service at the First Baptist Church where he heard Dr. Bill Bennett for the first time. Dr. Bennett had attended Duke University where he earned multiple degrees. He had a tremendous grasp of the Scriptures and also had a touch of the Spirit in his life. Rick saw a mixture of brains and Spirit in Dr. Bennett as he had never seen before, so he moved to Ft. Smith to serve and learn everything he could from him. There is no doubt Dr. Bennett had a profound influence on Rick’s life and ministry. But then Rick made a terrible wrong turn.
