When you look through the world’s eyes, it’s easy to think service is for the weak and worthless. “Submission” is viewed as a dirty word. Many lust for power instead of caring for people. But Jesus showed us what true service is. By emptying Himself to become human and die for our sins, God the Son exemplified the strength and confidence it takes to serve. So let’s change our attitudes about service! Let the Spirit of God make you strong and secure enough to serve others. It’s no good to be a lion when God is seeking to bless lambs.
