David Diga Hernandez - He Healed Them All

So, I want to keep this very simple today. I truly believe that all true spirituality is founded upon simplicity, and as I’m teaching today, I just want to stir your faith. I want to read to you a few portions of Scripture, and I’m going to minister a very simple message: the healing presence of Jesus. The Scripture says in Mark 16:20, «And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.» Jesus’s nearness brings miracles. The Scripture says that the Lord went with them, confirming the message that they preached, anointed by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus’s presence, when it is near, brings all the benefits that come with knowing Him. Many people seek the hand of God; they seek healing, they seek deliverance, they seek prosperity, they seek blessing, and they seek restoration. At times, they may receive those things from His hand, but when you seek Jesus Himself—when you seek the person of Jesus and go after Him with all your heart—then, when He comes near to you, you receive all the benefits that come with His presence. You can seek the hand and be blessed, or you can seek the heart, the presence, and be transformed. When you get Jesus, you get it all.

When you get Jesus, you receive healing. You don’t need healing; you need the Healer. You don’t need deliverance; you need the Deliverer. You don’t need to hear the truth; you need to know the Truth, a person. When Jesus comes near to you, things begin to transform, and the very nearness of His presence will bring about the miraculous. As we just read in Mark 16:20, His presence also brings faith. It stirs within you the ability to receive what God’s Word promises. Romans 10:17 says, «So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.» We know who the Word is: «In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.» Jesus is the Word; Jesus is the truth; Jesus is the substance of the spoken promises of the Father.

When Jesus is near you, there’s faith that is stirred. So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word. The nearness of the Word, the presence of the Word, stirs up faith. If you don’t have faith, it might as well be that God never promised a thing, because faith is the only way we can lay hold of the promises that God has made. Faith is the only way we can receive everything that God has spoken. Faith is how you become, and faith is how you do, and faith is how you receive all that God has promised. Faith brings what God has promised into your reality. Faith is the substance of things hoped for; faith is the actuality of what you want, of what you’re wishing for, of what you’re imagining. Faith brings that which is not into your reality as it is.

So, we allow our faith to be stirred by the presence of Jesus. His nearness, His very essence, brings healing. It is the healing presence of Jesus. I’m all for the laying on of hands, and if you come to any of my miracle services, you’ve seen me before. Sometimes, I will lay hands on the sick, but more often than not, in a service, what I prefer to do is simply enter into a place of deep worship. When we come into this place of deep worship, where we’re connecting with the Spirit of God and where the Holy Spirit is, by revelation, inspiring us to adore the Father, we enter into a different realm.

The presence of Jesus transforms everything. In those services, we will worship for an hour, sometimes two hours, and then all of a sudden, in the middle of the service, even sometimes while I’m preaching, the healing presence of Jesus—Jesus Himself—will show up in that room. It’s as if the healing presence of Jesus is moving up and down the aisles, as if Jesus Himself is walking down each row and laying hands on people. Within minutes after the manifestation of the healing presence of Jesus occurs, there are miracles taking place all over the service.

I was just up toward Central California, and I preached a very simple message on the reality of Christ—on how the Holy Spirit wants to make Jesus real to you. What began to happen is that people began to capture a revelation by the Word because of what the Holy Spirit was doing in their hearts concerning Jesus. When they captured that revelation of Jesus as Healer, something began to happen in their bodies. I won’t forget this anytime soon. I simply said a prayer: «Lord, in the name of Jesus, I rebuke all the sickness that’s in this room. I come against heart disease; I come against blood disorders; I rebuke cancer; I rebuke arthritis in Jesus’s name.» In fact, I went on to list things that the Holy Spirit led me to pray against, and within just two minutes, there was a line that almost went out the door of people who had been healed.

Now, I could have laid hands on each one of those people myself, and the Scripture does instruct us to lay hands on people, but there is a far more effective way, and that is to experience the healing presence of Jesus—just knowing His nearness, just being around His essence. In fact, we see a little bit of this in the book of Acts.
