Today, Pastor Jack tells us that our old life and nature died with Christ. Our human passions and desires were destroyed by His death and resurrection. And even more, it instantly secured our forgiveness and acceptance into eternal life in heaven with Him.

There are things that cannot be known except through suffering. The way Jesus endured the cross led to the salvation of the world. So when Christians suffer for their faith, they are partnering with Christ in His suffering.

Being conformed to Christ’s death means a continuous, progressive movement - a daily non-stop nudging of the Holy Spirit within the believer to become more like Jesus Christ, in life and in death.
