The true Christian walks like they know they belong to the family of God. And, they follow Jesus with or without someone like the Apostle Paul alongside to motivate or inspire them.

Working out our own salvation means to take what we know, and use it as a starting point from which to grow on. We are to seek the finish line undeterred by desires and temptations. And, we are to imitate Christ by walking in His love as we share our faith with others.

As true followers of Jesus Christ, we need to move forward in our walk with God. To be one with God in our thoughts, in our prayers, and by studying His word, the Bible. A deeper knowledge of His works and His power is essential in understanding His will for our lives.

The Holy Spirit is at work inside us to recreate His will, within us. As we draw closer to God, we will begin to desire what He desires. It will also begin to affect our thinking, our emotions, and our actions as well.
