When we don't own our belovedness, what's gonna happen is that when people criticize us we are crushed. But when we own our belovedness, it's not as if criticism doesn't hurt. It's just that, you know, there's something stronger inside that can swallow up that criticism, amen? Because you know what? You know what people say, "Hey, I'm God's beloved. I'm the one he loves". It does something to you. Are you listening?

Jesus faced all the criticisms of the Pharisees because he knew he was God's beloved. The moment you start believing, "Oh I'm a failure because my marriage is a failure. I'm a failure because I lost money. I'm a failure because I failed that project". The moment you tie up these actions to who you are, you fall. Never tie your negative actions, your negative results, whatever, or negative performance, to who you are. Who are you? God's beloved. Your performance may not be up to par, but you are God's beloved.
