From Egypt to Sinai, it is not based on their goodness, it's based on his goodness. It's not based on how faithful Israel is, it's how faithful God is. You see, friend, one day I remember God saying to me many years ago as I was studying this, God says, "No one died from Egypt to Sinai". And I was thinking to myself, I never heard that preached, and I began feverishly to go through the Bible and to make sure that at least someone died, but no one died from Egypt to Sinai. About 2 or 3 million of them, they went out; not a single one died. Come on, church. I'm sure there were some overt sinners amongst them, okay? But even then, no one died. Did they sin? Oh, yeah, every step of the way and every junction of the way, rather. They murmured, but every murmuring brought forth a fresh manifestation of God's grace.

One easy way to understand being under law and being under grace, the way the Lord showed me is this: law is demand, grace is supply.
