#605 - Joseph Prince - The Power Of Forgiveness Brings Freedom - Part 2

Holiness today doesn't come by consciously trying to keep the law because the more you try to keep the law, don't forget, the purpose for which God gave the law is to show you up. But the more you focus on Jesus and walk after him, walk in the Spirit, you will have the experience of love, which is the fulfillment of all the commandments, of all the law. When you love your neighbor, you will not steal from him. When you love your neighbor, you will not covet what belongs to him, amen. You will end up keeping the law accidentally.

God had to bring in the law first because or else if we say that Christ died for our sins, if God gave forgiveness of sins without the law given first, man will say, "What is sin? What is sin"? If Jesus came and died on the cross for my sins, why did he die for my sins? What are sins? If God gave grace, we'll not be able to appreciate grace because unless we know sins have been forgiven much in our lives, we'll never be able to appreciate what grace is all about.
