Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart. for they shall see God". How is a man's heart purified? Here he gives you the answer, a man's heart is purified by faith, not by your struggles, not by saying, "Oh God, I'm doing my best to have a pure heart. Oh God". No, no, it's just simply believing, attesting to the integrity of God's Word. If God says... what did Gentiles believe that purified their hearts by faith? They believe to him all the prophets witness that through Jesus is preached to you the forgiveness of sins. They believe it, they believe their sins were forgiven through Jesus Christ.

Today, God will not remember our sins because God has remembered all our sins at the cross. Today God says, "I'll remember your sins no more" because it'll be unjust for God to remember to punish your sins in the body of Jesus Christ, and then again punish your sins in your body. God will be unjust, and God designed this new covenant so that you will be the recipient of all these benefits.
