I’m thinking I’m a good Christian, and all this Holy Ghost music is in my head, but I guess it’s just Allan Temps and Lulu. Y’all heard Luther; whoo man, I got a couple of James Fortune songs in there, and Darrell Wallace owns-I don’t know, I listened to it, man. It’s just maybe not around here, but you know I don’t listen to you, and I’m with her, so I guess that’s what she’s accustomed to. You understand? I thank you all for every well wish, every word, and I think that more than all of that has taken place. I haven’t heard my voice at 14 years old; I haven’t heard that in so long. But I see that Mother Tappman is in the house today, and she came for my birthday. Miss Betty, how does my Howard’s mama, 91, 93 years old, she’s the most senior member, and we thank God for Mary and for the couple — the young lady who was in the coma. I remember your face now when they showed me a picture of it, and we went up there. I’ve never been to that church before and preached and talked about the seed, and a group of people evidently-whatever your life means-they loved you so much that they surrounded me, borderline harassed, because the security was like he’s got to go. But they wanted you to be okay so bad that they broke protocol, and I just preached in this place last week that the woman with the issue of blood wanted to get healed; she pressed past everybody. And I said that sometimes you have to break protocol to stop a period, and I thank God that those people pressed through. We are honored that you are standing in this place today; give all glory to God. Normally, pastors take their birthdays off and argue to have somebody else preach, but I’d like to preach, so I’m working on my birthday. Amen! It’s actually not till the sixth, and I want you to know that because I don’t want everybody telling me happy birthday today, and then Friday you don’t say anything. So my birthday isn 't today; it’s on Friday. But we just did it today so that we wouldn’t wait until the next Sunday because it’ll be over. But you better tell me happy birthday on my day! Amen! I want to continue this topic about grace. Have you been enjoying it? I found grace in Genesis chapter 6, and I’m just determined to make sure that you don’t think that grace happened when Jesus came. Grace is in the Old Testament. Go to Genesis chapter number 6, verse 1 through 8. I think I might need to put y’all together and get a group. I know you’re in the group, and y’all all sing, but Lord have mercy! I listen to Whitney Houston to get ready for church. When I hear people sing songs to significant others, I actually hear me singing them to God. So for all of you super saints who couldn’t take that in the sanctuary, get over yourself! I can’t believe something that you suck in your car! As far as I know, the Bible says the earth is the Lord’s, the fullness thereof, and they did early. For all you super saints who think you don’t belong in the sanctuary, we don’t belong in your house. I know y’all; I’ve been here a long time. Just sacrilegious, the old folks say you’re so heavenly-minded you ain’t no earthly good. Genesis 6 and 1! Y’all better be lucky DeBarge wasn’t in here. Y’all better be lucky! That 's a shame that Aaron and Amari know me so well because that’s the stuff I make them listen to when we ride. I don’t care if we 're going to church! I don’t care if we’re going to revival! A desolate playing in the car! So everybody puts your pinky up and repeat, «Hallelujah!» Alright, Genesis chapter 6, verse 1: And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair-that’s what " fair» means-and they took them wives of all which they chose to be fine. Ain 't no role finders in the Bible! And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years. What God was saying right there is that he was going to give them 120 years to get their act together before he brought the flood. Sometimes God will give you grace before he sends judgment, right? They had 120 years to get it right. Now we won’t live that long, so I’ll say you’ve got about 120 days, 120 minutes, 120 seconds! But God always gives us a measure of grace! Somebody say, «Thank him for his grace!» The Bible says that there were giants in the land, but they came and they took the daughters of men and bore children with them. Some became mighty men that were old and renowned, and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
