The Lord told me to speak on these words: "whatever you say." Just touch your neighbor and say, "whatever you say." Whatever you say. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord. Whatever you say, come on, I can hear everything. I heard y'all. Have you ever considered how dangerous it is to only look at one side of a thing? Imagine driving on a Houston freeway, which is already dangerous, and only using the left side view mirror. Just imagine ignoring that there is even one on the right side. Imagine just brushing your top teeth while completely ignoring the bottom. Imagine going to the restroom and only washing your left hand, never washing the right. What would your feet look like if you only got a pedicure on one foot? Imagine going to the beautician and saying, "I want you to do the left side of my hair, so dope, but don't touch the right side." When a thing has multiple sides, all dimensions must be considered. If we care about the sky, we have to also care about the water because both dimensions are imperative for our survival. See, the problem with most of us is we don't consider both sides. Most of us feed our bodies while we let our spirits starve, and when you eat three times a day and study zero times a day, you end up dying from spiritual malnutrition, which makes you physically ill. Did you know that most people go to the doctor, and the doctor can't find anything because spiritual diseases don't show up on CAT scans? You know you're in pain, but they can't find it because the instruments they are using don't detect your issue. It is the result of feeding one dimension and starving the other. Imagine how weak you would be if you worked your muscles but never worked your mind. Here you are, able to lift up a couch but can't handle a burden because you have to consider that anytime something has multiple dimensions, you need to be able to use both sides. See, your brain has multiple hemispheres; there's a left brain and a right brain. Your brain is not monolithic; it has multiple dimensions. If you only use one side of your brain, you'll be able to read and write, but if you don't use the other side, you won't be able to see, taste, or smell because God didn't even put all of our senses on the same side of the brain. He gave us a left brain and a right brain, and we have to make sure that it is holistically healthy. Anytime a thing has multiple dimensions, you have to attend to all sides. Are y'all still here with me? The brain is a powerful machine; it must adhere to both sides, which are necessary. Even if you pick up your cell phone right now, it's got cameras on both sides. Imagine taking a selfie with the backside and trying to take a picture from a distance with the selfie camera. They both have their uses; one is for one thing, and the other is for another. You have to know which one can do what because if you use the wrong side for the wrong thing, you will be disappointed with the outcome. Sir, are y'all still with me? Now remember, my opening question was: Have you ever considered how dangerous it is to only see one side of a thing? All of your arguments with your spouse, all arguments with your loved ones, arise because both of you only see one side of the story. You're arguing because you believe the side you see is correct, and they're arguing because the side that they see is correct. Very rarely are any of us right, because the truth is actually in the middle of both perspectives. You have to consider both sides. To that end, I thought it was important to get us into the idea of both sides because decay can set in, and you won't know where the smell is coming from. When the water came in as a result of the flood, we had mold remediation come in to check if we had mold or mildew. In one area, we had to do some remediation. Anyone who's ever been through this knows that there's a certain smell. We walked into the room, and we were smelling it. They were pulling up the floor and the carpet, saying it's dry, but nobody thought to look above. Okay? The damage was above our heads, and sometimes we miss the damage because we lack the energy to look high enough. We're always trying to pull up and unearth, but sometimes we must reach because sometimes the danger is above your head, not beneath your feet. Are you still with me so far? I'm going somewhere. Top, bottom, in, out, left brain, right brain, top teeth, bottom teeth, left rear view, side view, right side view— you have all of these different dimensions, and yet somehow, spiritually, we stay consistently focused on only one side of God. Wow. Come on, He's a loving God, a kind God, a gracious God. He pays my bills, He eases my heart. Oh, He's just a loving God! Oh, the love of God! The love of God! But what about the God who...
