All of us have weaknesses. When God starts talking to us about our weaknesses, often we can start finding excuses. Maybe it’s not a sickness — maybe it’s a bad habit. Perhaps it’s an inability to do something. God is saying, Put some effort into it. You know it’s His will to heal and deliver you. When you act on His Word and start cooperating with His power, He gives you the ability to walk out of your situation. But if you just sit and do nothing, you don’t engage His power. The man at the Pool of Bethesda experienced God’s power firsthand. Jesus told him to pick up his bed and walk. He did what Jesus said to do and he was healed.
