Jesus spoke very abruptly to the man at the Pool of Bethesda: “If you want to be healed, today is your day — get up!” And the man responded! If we’re going to be healed in any area of our life, we first have to submit to the lordship of Jesus. If He says, "Receive your healing," just know He wouldn’t tell you to receive something He isn’t making available for you. The choice is always ours, but when we choose to act on the Word of God, the power of God is there to perform it. When this man acted on Jesus's words, he rose up and walked!
