Hey family, this is Pastor Touré. I hope you’re doing great! You’re getting ready to hear a message that I believe is going to resonate with you, encourage your heart, and build your faith. It’s called «All We Do Is Win.» As you know, because of COVID-19, churches like mine and others all over the country haven’t been able to hold physical gatherings. The reality is that this situation does hurt the church economically; however, I believe we are standing in favor. We are still feeding people. We opened our food bank today, and we are not going to allow the threat of a decrease in our income and giving to stop us from sharing the Word and feeding people. I am inviting you to join me. I’m doubling down on my faith. I believe that in times of crisis, we should give more, pray more, and show up more. Personally, I have increased my tithe to 20 percent; I’m giving 20 percent instead of 10 percent. I’m showing God that I believe in Him, I trust Him, and I believe I’m going to be blessed as a result. With that said, I invite you to join me. If you can’t join me in that way, I encourage you, if this ministry is blessing you, to sow into it. There will be instructions on how to do this, but for now, enjoy this word. God bless you! I love you and remember, all we do is win! Hallelujah!
Listen, I’m here to declare to you right now: it’s already done! We serve a God who declares the end from the beginning. I’m so excited about that thing you’re worried about; God has already worked it out. If you believe that, right where you are, lift up your hands and declare victory in your house. Claim your victory in your body and your circumstances. Thank you, Jesus! Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph, no matter what comes our way. Our God is faithful to ensure that we come out on top. Come on, somebody, we are destined to come out on top! That’s what I want to talk to you about today. As I was praying and seeking the Lord’s guidance, I felt led to share some important things with you. I want you to understand what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. I want to help you grasp what I believe God is doing in this hour and in this season. Beyond that, I want to provide some instruction on what we should be doing in the midst of what God is doing.
There’s a passage of Scripture I want to draw your attention to; it’s in 2 Timothy. Interestingly, this is my second week in 2 Timothy. As you know, the great leader Paul was admonishing and encouraging his protégé, young Timothy. I believe he was preparing him for the great destiny and future that awaited him. I believe that’s what God is doing with you, those of you who are watching. I believe that God is setting you up so that everything He has placed in you can come forth, because that is success. Success is not about how much money you make, how many followers you have on social media, or how many people know your name. Success is about how well you can produce and manifest the purpose for which God created you. In other words, success is about being yourself, because when you can be yourself, you can be used. God wants to use you; He created you to be a gift and a blessing in the times you were born into. Paul is encouraging Timothy, but I believe that God is encouraging us through these words found in 2 Timothy 2:3-9. It reads this way: «You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also, if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hard-working farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains. But the Word of God is not chained.» Wow, it’s so reassuring that the Word of God is not chained! I might be in trouble, but the Word isn’t in trouble. I might be confused, but the Word is not confused. I might be struggling, but the Word is not struggling. I might feel like I’m in a tight space, but the Word is not in a tight space. The Word, in the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It is not in chains, which means that the promises over my life are not in jeopardy. I feel the Spirit of God affirming that the promises over my life are secure. There is no threat against them. I am a Word, and I’m not governed by circumstances; I’m governed by the Word that God has spoken concerning my life. So even when the earth shakes, the Word remains steadfast.
