But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you. Hello, I’m Davida Hernandez, and you’re watching Encounter TV. Today on Encounter TV, I’m going to show you footage from the Miracle Encounter Service in Orange, California. Now, let me tell you one of the many reasons why I love these services: I so enjoy attending these Miracle Encounter services, and I truly feel honored to host and minister at them. One of the main reasons I love these services is that the presence of the Holy Spirit becomes a manifested and intense reality. I’m telling you, He reveals Jesus with vivid intensity at these services. I believe that when people come together and unite their faith, their hearts hungry to experience the presence of God, He responds in a supernatural way. At these services, miracles happen, and people experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in ways they never have before. I am told time and time again by those who attend these events; they say, «I’ve never in all my years—some of them have been Christians for 30 or 40 years—experienced the power of God in this way.» I’m so excited to show you the footage from this service because not only do I believe that the anointing can be transferred, but I also believe that the anointing still rests on this service. As you watch it, I believe God’s going to heal you. God’s going to set you free. Some of you watching this turned on the program; it’s no accident you’re watching today because, as you view this, chains will be broken, and God will reveal Himself to you in a fresh and powerful way. Whether you’re a new convert or someone who has been serving the Lord for a while, I believe it is the power of the Holy Spirit that we need to continually tap into in order to experience the fullness of the Christian life. With that said, we’re going to go now to Orange, California, where I’m ministering on the power of the Holy Spirit.

The world in which we live is filled with many interesting things happening, and if anything could describe the state of our world right now, it is chaos. Things out there are getting crazy. I mean, have you watched the news? Have you seen what’s going on? Between the rulings in the Supreme Court and the issues surrounding Planned Parenthood, I look at it all and I say, «Lord, you have to help this nation.» As I mentioned before, we often feel powerless to change these things. However, I want to encourage you tonight and assure you that the church will not just survive in this hour; it is going to thrive. God is preparing to do something very big. Right now, it may not seem like it, given all the shootings occurring. My goodness, just a few days ago, there was a shooting that happened live on television. It’s horrific! That is a demonic influence in this world. Look at the school shootings, the theater shootings, the mass murders, and the news reporters being killed. It’s awful! It’s demonic, wicked, and twisted. This demonic influence is taking place in our nation.

Consider the fact that there is political unrest currently. Look at the deal being made with Iran as they work to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. We are dealing with a nation that is chanting «Death to America,» yet we are trying to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon. There are uncertainties, and the ties we once enjoyed with other nations are being shaken right now. Many of the alliances that we had are in turmoil. Terrorism is running rampant. When I went to the Philippines, that very week, ISIS attempted to recruit there, and discussions arose about how ISIS is spreading its influence throughout the Philippine Islands. This is the nature of terrorism.

Now, regarding everything that’s going on with political correctness—let me tell you something: All this «You can’t say this, you can’t say that» rhetoric is an agenda to silence the gospel. I want to emphasize that this spirit is trying to suppress truth. The essence of political correctness suggests that if something is offensive, it cannot be true. However, the reality is that sometimes truth can be offensive. The enemy is trying to squeeze the gospel out of our nation.

You can see the moral decline in our society. Just listen to the music, watch the movies, and observe the culture among youth and young adults. The scripture that best describes this situation is Isaiah 5:20, which states, «What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that darkness is light and light is darkness, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.» There are wicked things that the world celebrates; they showcase such things on television and social media, calling bad things good. When we preach the gospel, they label us as bigots or closed-minded. People ask, «Why are you so narrow-minded?» I respond, «Well, Jesus said, 'Narrow is the way that leads to life.’» Yes, I want to be open-minded, but not so much that my brains fall out! I want to preach the truth. We need to have a reality check at some point, church.

Now, let’s discuss economic instability. Look at Greece—the stock market just took a major hit. How many of you saw that just a couple of days ago? It fell to the lowest point in a long time in just one day. Consider the U.S. debt that I alluded to earlier, the slowing economy, and the fact that millennials ages 18 to 35 are leaving the church in rapid numbers. I ask the Lord, «What is going on here? What’s happening in our world?»

We are about to return to Orange, California, in just a moment, where I will continue my message on the power of the Holy Spirit. But for now, it’s time for our Mark 16 Miracle segment. This is where we showcase footage of you outside the church walls, prophesying, praying for the sick, and evangelizing. Here’s one such example: «How are you doing, sir? How are you doing, Israel? God bless you! Do you have pain right now?» «Yes, I have pain every day.» «Let me pray for you. Real quick, man. Just two seconds. Done! Where is it?» «In my foot.» «Father, in Jesus’ name, I thank you because you are going to heal him right now. All pain, get out! Be made whole in Jesus’ name because Jesus loves him. Thank you, Father. Amen. Move it around.»
