Derek Prince - All Scripture Is God Breathed

Knowing and proclaiming the whole of God's Word is tremendously important. 2 Timothy 3 describes the perilous times that are to come. Paul describes the root of all this evil as selfishness (love of self, love of money and love of pleasure). We all have to deal with this evil. The only thing that separates us from the world is being unselfishness.

Then at the end of the chapter, 2 Timothy 3:16, it says that 'all scripture is given by inspiration' ('all scripture is God-breathed'). If we really believe this, we have to study God's Word thoroughly and also proclaim His Word (in season and out of season). We have to preach the whole of scripture and exhort, teach, rebuke and convince people, using the Bible. This is especially important for these times because Paul warns us that the time will come when they'll not endure sound doctrine.
