Well, what’s up, family? Welcome to Thrive! I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with you today. God, in His grace, has graciously given us another opportunity. Here’s what the psalmist said: «Lord, teach us to number our days that we might incline our hearts to wisdom.» Here’s how I interpret that verse: Lord, help me remember that my days are numbered. Yes, Lord, and because they are numbered, help me to make them count. Yes, I want to make it count! Thank you, Jesus, for another day.

I want to welcome you to Thrive, where we begin our time together by petitioning God through prayer. The Bible is very clear: there are certain things God will not do unless we ask. The purpose of prayer is not to notify God of a need—He knows what we need before we ask. Rather, the purpose of prayer is to express our dependency. Dr. Dle and I are currently leaning deeply into the historic pioneers in the area of pneumatology and Spirit-filled living. I’m not going to name names, but we’re examining some of the historic streams of thought and thought leaders in the Spirit-filled charismatic movement. There are scholars in that lane. There are certain things you can’t capture through teaching—you need a touch! It’s not just about the principles of God; you need the presence of God, the power of God, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

This is why we dedicate time to prayer. Each week, people send in their requests, and we just highlight a few of them. Today, we are lifting up TeKisha Reeves, who is believing God for liberation. We are adding our faith to hers regarding liberation from guilt. Amen! We also pray for Kelly Lewis, who is seeking clarity during this time of transition, and Ronetta Jackson, who is asking for wisdom and guidance. We want you to know we are praying for you, Tianaa Davis, who is believing God for financial provision, and D. Gray, who is believing God to open a door in the area of employment. We are standing in faith for you.

We are also praying for Vanessa Jacobs, who believes God for physical healing, specifically regarding her heart health. Now, here’s what I want you all to do: don’t just send us your requests; also send us your testimonies! Come on! I know He has His hand on your life. I want our Thrive community, the Thrive tribe, to hear the faithfulness of God as He answers the prayers of His people. We are not just here to articulate requests; we are also here to testify about how God responded. He is a responsive God—He responds! Those testimonies will stir the faith of people. Remember, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

So, Father, I thank you today for each and every request. We come to you today boldly, as You instructed us. We come boldly to Your throne of grace. We pray now that you would look upon the requests of each and every person. You are the God who supplies every need. There is no need we’ve lifted that You can’t supply, so we express our faith and dependence. Thank you, Father, by saying, «Kind Father, look upon these requests.» Yes, have mercy.

I pray that the liberating ministry of the Holy Spirit would set people free from guilt, shame, condemnation, and regret in the name of Jesus. Father, once they have learned the lesson, set them free to step into the next chapter of Your story for their lives. May he whom the Son sets free walk in freedom indeed. I pray for that.

I also pray for every financial need. God, would You send water from a rock? Send provision from unexpected places. Cause Ravens to feed Your people. Show them how to use the gifts and talents You have given them to create wealth that will sustain them and their families. I thank You for that, Father.

I pray for physical healing as well. Thank You, Father; You are still the balm in Gilead, the great Physician. We pray for blood pressure, diabetes, chronic headaches, and migraines. Yes, Father, we pray for irregular heartbeats, arteries, blood pressure, and kidney function. Thank You, Lord! You created these bodies; You know how these organs function. You speak the language of every organ in our body. As You speak, every organ has to obey.

Father, we lift up every request represented here tonight. Bless Your people now. Open our hearts to receive Your word, and speak to us through Your scriptures. I thank You for this, and I ask it all in Jesus’ name. Amen, amen, amen! Drop some fire in the chat! Man, listen, I am looking forward to receiving testimonies—yes, Lord! Of the prayer requests! You know, Pastor, we used to say in the church, «You don’t have to wait till the battle is over; you can shout right now!» So, you don’t have to wait until you receive your healing. I just wish somebody would go ahead and testify and shout right now in advance in the chat!
