Jesus's death on the cross met fully all the claims of divine holiness. Jesus's death on the cross magnified God's law. Jesus's death on the cross fulfilled God's law and put it aside, amen. You see, what does fulfill mean? Jesus says, "I didn't come to destroy the law. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill". Has he fulfilled it? He has fulfilled it. We are no more under law. We are under grace.

The highest form of life is something that the people of the world do not have, and that's what Jesus came to give. He says, "I come that you might have life," and that word there is zoe, all right? Aionios zoe, eternal life. "And to have it more abundantly," Jesus said. He didn't come to give us laws and more laws. He didn't come to give us rules and new rules. He came to give us life, amen. He didn't come to make bad people good, he came to make dead people live.
