When we impart love to our children unconditionally, amen, you're afraid because you say that, "If I show love when they have misbehaved I'm sending them a wrong signal". Stop walking in the counsel of the ungodly. When it comes to parenting, stop walking in the counsel of the ungodly and walk in the counsel of God. I didn't say you tell them, "I am pleased at what you have done". I said say to them, "I will always be pleased with you. I will always love you. What you did was wrong. It doesn't change my love for you". Especially when they are really down and they hear that, they know they're loved. And the Bible says when they know they're loved they will imitate you.
