God will often call us to give others what we need because our needs and experiences qualify us for our divine assignment. In the book of Exodus 2, Moses who was called to be a deliverer of Israel from slavey was in need of deliverance as a infant from Pharaoh. No matter what your current challenges or needs are today, God can use them as a compass to lead you into what you have been called and assigned to help others with. If you are feeling empty and depleted because you keep giving other what you actually need but no one is giving back to you, then this message is for you.

«When the deliverer needs delivering.» I came across a very interesting quote by Carl Sandburg that said, «A baby is just God’s opinion that the world should go on.» I find this particularly interesting because we live in a day and age—a world full of darkness, hatred, pain, sickness, and even death. But the baby is God’s opinion that regardless of what is happening in your life, the world should still go on. Think about the baby dedication we just had this morning and how, regardless of what is going on in your life, you were still smiling because of a baby. This is very important; this is imperative, because our introduction to our sermonic text for consideration begins with the conception and delivery of a baby boy called Moses. You don’t have to be a parent—none of you are parents of all the babies—but you are still happy for them. You don’t have to be a parent to know that the birth of a baby is one of the greatest miracles on Earth. To prove it, Psalms 127 says children are a gift from God. Pastor, I need more scripture—Jeremiah 1:5: «Before I formed you, I knew you.» It doesn’t matter how the child got here; the fact that a child arrived and that God permitted the child means that God has a purpose for the child. This is important because as we begin to consider this text, we begin to see that the birth of a baby is a sign of blessing within historical and biblical constructs. So much so that if a woman was not able to produce, she was considered barren; she was despised, disrespected, and disregarded. We see this in the life of Sarah, who was disregarded and despised by Hagar. We see it in the life of Hannah, who was disregarded by Penina. All of these women were eventually blessed by God. All I’m trying to say is that there’s something inside you, and if you don’t get it out, people will despise you. Could it be possible that people are pushing you around because you have not pushed out what God put in you? People will continuously push you until you push out what God has placed in you. I need to encourage you this morning to push out whatever is inside you. Push out the dream that is inside you. Push out the confidence that is inside you. Push out the business that is inside you. Push out whatever dream, whatever idea, whatever book God has placed within you. Help me give your neighbor a fist bump and tell them to «push it out, push it out, push it out!» Somebody, that’s the word you came for; you need to push it out. You’re not producing anything if you’re not reproducing anything. I was in the room when my wife gave birth to our three kids. She pushed out these three gigantic babies—nine-pound, eight-ounce babies. No C-section for any of them. Some of you don’t know what that means, but some of you do. We initially thought the babies were seven pounds, and we discovered they were nine pounds after they were born. After she had pushed, it’s like, «Hey, oh! It’s nine pounds—almost ten pounds!» I marveled at her ability to handle pressure because there was a purpose in mind. I was amazed at her mental and physical strength to endure this pressure. I was there in the room; I didn’t do anything but cheer her on. All I did was cut the cord. I want to speak today to the women in the house. Is there any woman in the house believing God for the fruit of the womb? If you are believing God for the fruit of the womb, I want to see you come forward. I want to pray for you. If you are believing God for the fruit of the womb, I want to pray for you today. God is about to release something in your life. We cannot talk about babies and conduct baby dedications without also releasing babies. Now, if you don’t want babies, please don’t come forward. But if you want a baby, you better come forward because God is able to do exceedingly. I believe there will be twins here; I believe there will be triplets here. God is about to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works in us. I believe God can do what no man can do. I want to do something prophetically. If you have had a baby before—if you are a mother and you have pushed out your baby, it doesn’t matter if it was a C-section; I don’t care, as long as the baby came out—that’s the most important thing. If you are here and you are a mother who has brought forth a baby, please stand up wherever you are.
