Well, what’s up, everybody? Welcome to Thrive! I’m incredibly excited, as always, to have this opportunity to share with you. Man, today is going to be an incredible day! Shout out to everybody that’s watching us live. Listen, if you’re watching a replay of this, we do this live every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and our chat community is a vibe! It’s a vibe! As a matter of fact, if you’re in the chat right now, put «vibe» in the chat—vibe, vibe, vibe! But whenever you’re watching this, we’re grateful that you’re here and incredibly excited to have you as a part of this community. You cannot experience transformation in isolation. I want you to catch this: your success requires a squad. We all need squad goals, and man, this community’s a vibe. I love my Thrive family and I’m so excited to be with you on the last Wednesday in June. Where did the year go? Where did the year go? Guys, listen, I feel like I’ve had a pretty good first six months, and I’m grateful to God for this first half. They’ve been really good, but I’m going for really great in the last six. If that’s you, put «me too» in the chat. The first six have been really—really, really good—I’m going for really great these next six months, and I hope you’re doing the same. I’ve got something that can actually help you do that. Man, I want you to be a part of a tribe! There are four types of people that exist in this world. Somebody get ready to write this down. Listen, when I teach you something, take it and teach it. If you’re a teacher, add value to other people—teach it! I have four things for you—alright, here it is. There are four types of people that exist in this world; write this down, guys. These are biblical animal metaphors: they’re sheep, wolves, goats, and lions. I don’t have time to break all four of those down, but think about it. You can probably make the connection. What type of people are sheep? They can be docile, a bit naive, not assertive, not aggressive—good people but don’t necessarily live good lives. Sheep primarily just get used for their wool. When people see that imagery in the Bible, they think it’s the only imagery; however, sheep aren’t the only ones in the Bible. There are snakes, goats, wolves, and lions—Jesus is referred to as a lion. So anyway, here’s the point: you have sheep, wolves—ravenous, deceptive, aggressive, selfish, and self-serving—who cannot be trusted. They’re predatory; they prey on people. Some wolves consciously prey on people, while others unconsciously do so; they don’t even realize it—it’s just their nature. Then you have goats, who have sheep-like tendencies but are not sheep. They have a personality type that can be stubborn. Goats can be docile at times, but they can also be aggressive. Goats are not very discerning; they eat what’s put in front of them. Sheep are more discerning about what they eat; goats are not. Goats will eat what’s good, and they’ll eat gossip—oof, right? Then you have lions. They’re assertive, aggressive, go-getters, and passionate. They’re called the king of the jungle, and they’re not even the biggest animal in the jungle. They’re called the king of the jungle not because of their size or strength but because of their attitude. So whenever you’re trying to help people, you need to know there are four types of people: wolves who don’t want help, goats who are kind of confused about the help they want, sheep that you have to lead the right way, and a small group that’s lions. We’ve got something for lions, and lions go to something called Daniel’s Den. In my opinion, that’s the best personal and professional development program out there. I believe if you’re going to reach your potential, you need to master four areas: spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, relational intelligence, and leadership. Those are the four areas you need to master; if you don’t master those areas, you won’t reach your potential. If you don’t reach your potential, there are some things on this earth you won’t do. Daniel’s Den is officially open right now! You can go to danielsden.com. If you’re a lion, that’s where you need to be—I’m telling you right now! Alright, so let’s wrap up this series I’m in on Thrive on Wednesdays called «I’m Gifted.» We’ve been talking a lot about gifts. Over the last several weeks, we’ve been doing a deep dive. Some of you have asked me about a Spiritual Gifts Assessment; we’re going to put that assessment in the description of this video. It will be in the description, not the chat—just the description!
