The writer of Hebrews is quoting Psalms 8. David was quoting Psalms 8 like this: "What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, and set him over the works of Your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet". This entire quote is from Psalms 8.

Notice that the last enemy is not terrorism. The last enemy is not financial downturn. The last enemy is physical death, which means all these other enemies would then have been conquered. Good news. And I believe we are that generation, amen, church? So, here, the Bible says that although we don't yet see all things put under man, "but we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels for a while, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone". I love it, the way it's said. "By the grace of God, taste death for everyone," all right?
