God meant to rule the earth through Israel, but when Israel sinned against God, and especially the sin of idolatry... you see as long as they have other sins, you know, we're not sanctioning any sin, I'm just saying that even though they were sinning, they still offered the sacrifices every day. And the blood of the sacrifice atoned or covered their sins. And on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, it will cover their sins for another year. It never really took away their sins. That came when Jesus came as the final Lamb of God who took away, amen, the sins, the sin of the world. And all our sins, today, have been remitted by the blood of Jesus. It's not covered over, it's remitted. It is blotted out of sight, amen.
