Keion Henderson - Don't Let It Shake You

I am speaking to people in this country and in this congregation that, no matter what is happening around you, you have to walk by faith and not by sight. Touch somebody and say, «Don’t let it shake you!» You got hand sanitizer that doesn’t even have alcohol in it anymore; you’ve had it so long, you still have hand sanitizer from COVID, talking about you’re going to use it. It has turned into molasses; you ain’t going to do anything with it. But when you’re scared, you overdo it. I’m going to preach whether you say «Amen» or not. Amen. And out of all the shifts that have taken place, are you still with me or are you asleep? Out of all the shifts that are taking place, can I just tell you what is still true? God is unchanged, unfazed, and undefeated. I thought you’d clap; he’s unchanged, he’s unfazed, and he’s undefeated. I’m still trying to find my favorite part of the church; I haven’t found it yet. He’s unfazed, he’s unchanged, and he’s undefeated. He’s still Sovereign, he’s still Savior, and he’s still a shield. He’s still faithful, he’s still forgiving, and he’s still our Father. He has not lost one ounce of power; he’s still on the throne, he’s still on the throne, he’s still making ways out of nowhere. Help me, Holy Ghost! Old folks say he’s still the Bright and Morning Star; he’s still the Lily of the Valley; he’s still the Rose of Sharon; he’s still Ezekiel’s Wheel in the middle of the wheel; he’s still Job’s walking cane. When you get old, he’s still the fairest of ten thousand; he’s still the Alpha and the Omega; he’s still the Beginning and the End. He’s still Jehovah Jireh; he’s still Jehovah Nissi; he’s still Jehovah Shalom; he’s still Yahweh; he’s still Elohim; he’s still God, and beside him there is no other. He hasn’t lost an ounce of power, so lift up your head, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and know that the King of Glory shall come in. God is not I.C.; he’s not LAX; he’s not asleep; he just has something we don’t have: patience. God told me to tell you that whenever he delays you, he’s preparing you so that your destiny is doable. If you show up at Destiny too early, it is a curse. So, he’s holding you back so that when you get there, you don’t lose it because of what you lack. When you arrive at Destiny, you will be mentally, emotionally, and financially strong enough to hold on to what I have prescribed for you. I know you want it now, but you still have leashes in your life, and you’ll be bled dry before you get the blessing. He says the reason why some of you are struggling is that you’re connected to the unstable and the uneducated. Oh God, help me in this place! I’m going to preach in here whether y’all say «Amen» or not. He says this is what the whole text is about, and I don’t know why the church has gotten away from this. But can I tell y’all something? You’re waiting on your miracle, and I’m waiting on Jesus to return. Do you understand that we only live so that when he comes back, he’s coming back to look for a church without a spot or a wrinkle? And you’re trying to get a paycheck; I’m trying to go to heaven. Oh, he’s coming back! Oh, I said he’s coming back! Don’t let nobody tell you this is a human exercise; this is a spiritual exercise while we live in a physical body. When he comes back, the Bible says the sky will crack like glass, and those who are dead will rise, and those of us who are alive will be caught up in the twinkling of an eye. And when he calls my name, I don’t want him to call me Keon; I want him to say, «Servant, well done. You’ve been faithful over a few things; now come on up so I can make you ruler over much.» Slap somebody and say, «You can have this whole world, just give me Jesus!» I need somebody to hear the word in here; I’m preaching what we call sound doctrine. I did not come to entertain you; I came to get you ready because, watch this, when he comes back, you ain’t going to have time to get ready. So you gotta stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. Old folks say you gotta keep your bags packed. I got my train ticket! Are y’all young? You’re so young I don’t even know what to do with you! I got my ticket in my hand; here it is: my name has been written. Oh, I like that old stuff, in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God ain’t going to have to add my name; he ain’t going to have to white it out; he ain’t going to have to type it in later; my name is already in the book! Thank you! And that’s why I walk by faith and not by sight, because my eternity is secure, and it ain’t up for grabs. I am saved; I have been bought with a price. All this stuff that’s going on in the world — I gotta tell you, racism ain’t going to stop because NBA players wear t-shirts. You’re going to see it today, possibly. It ain’t going to stop just because the NFL bought a commercial. You know what’s going to stop all of this? When Jesus returns! Did you hear what I said? When Jesus returns, that is the antidote to the Antichrist. That is the antidote to this civilization that we’re embarking on; the antidote is the return of Jesus.
