The title of this message, by the way, is «Don’t Forget to Live.» God promises us in Genesis 8:22 that as long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest. It’s still time to sow. We are not hiding from life right now; we are not tucking our tails and hiding beneath things, waiting for the storm to pass. Now is the best time to sow. The Bible says in Psalm 126 or 127—I can’t remember; read the whole Bible, you’ll find it—that those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. Sowing is not reserved for happy times; the wise farmers understand that they must continuously and constantly sow because they cannot get a harvest if they do not sow. Ecclesiastes 11:6 says, «In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.» That is powerful and prophetic for the season we are in. We already know, we’ve already established that while the earth remains, there is seedtime and harvest. Everything is in a cycle. God assures us we are not at the end of the world. Things are not on the verge of crashing and burning or being lost forever. God made a promise; that is what the rainbow represents. It is a promise from God that He will never destroy the earth like that again. As long as the earth remains, I will be in this cycle—either I am sowing or I am reaping, one or the other. I am in this cycle. This passage of Scripture is powerful because it tells us what we need to be doing: we must continue to sow. Furthermore, it tells us how to sow and to do so relentlessly. It says, «In the morning sow your seed,» and «in the evening do not withhold your hand.» This means, do not stop sowing. We are not necessarily talking about night or day; we are talking about every season and in every way. We are talking about a variety of sowing. What have you given up on? I believe that we should be sowing into what we formerly knew, and I believe we ought to be sowing at night. That could represent sowing in the dark. I believe we ought to be sowing not only what is clear, not only what we know, but also what we sense. We should be working toward a future that God is bringing us into. In other words, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what you and I need to do is build. But you cannot build if you are overshadowed; you cannot build if you do not have new thoughts or the right perspective. Family, I want to land the plane because I want to enter a time of prayer with you, but I wholeheartedly believe the word of the Lord is: don’t forget to live. Yes, be careful; yes, take precautions; yes, be aware of your surroundings, but do not stop living. It reminds me of the children of Israel when they were rebuilding the wall. The temple had come down, and their wall had come down as well. God was rebuilding them; under Ezra, they rebuilt the temple, and then under Nehemiah, they were building the wall. They were making progress, and it was working. When the wall reached half its height, they were almost there. An attack came, and this attack caused them to shift their perspective and the way they worked. Study it when you get a chance in Nehemiah Chapter 4. Ultimately, what happened is they went back to building. There was an interruption, there was a pause, but they returned to building. This time, they built with their work tools in one hand and their swords in the other. In other words, they were determined not to let any season, circumstance, or dilemma keep them from building. You are a builder; there are things in you. You are an architect; God is your architect, and you are God’s architect. There are things inside you that are part of the new world being introduced. But if you are overshadowed and forget to live, you will be bogged down by the notion of merely surviving, not realizing that great people—destined people—thrive even in challenging times. I want to pray for you. It has been a wonderful privilege being here with you. I want you to share this message and listen to it; there are tons of gems. I believe this is prophetic. I took a break from writing to bring this word to you because I believe it is timely, now, and designed to break something off your life and push you into the future that is our reality. Father, I thank you so much for those who are watching right now. You know who they are; you know what they are dealing with in their lives, and you know they would hear this message. Father, I pray that these truths penetrate deeply; you said many things, and I pray, God, that not one of them will be lost. Father, we are not going…
