Touré Roberts - It's Time to Gather

God spoke to me and said, «This is your word, and I want you to hear it. I don’t want these words to merely pierce your spirit and penetrate your soul.» It’s this: it’s gathering time. It’s gathering time; it’s time to gather. You’ll get it in just a second, but real quick, while we’re all standing, I want to read a few passages of Scripture. These are the words of Jesus that corroborate this prophetic—awe, I feel God—this prophetic word that God gave me for you. Something’s going to snap; something’s going to break. We’re going to pray in a second, but Matthew—let’s go to Matthew chapter 9, verse 36. It says, «But when He,» that is Jesus, «saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them because they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.» Then He said to His disciples, «The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.» He says, «The harvest is plenteous.» He looks out, and where most people see lack—where most people see frustration, dysfunction, and difficulty—He sees a harvest. He sees a harvest. He says, «The harvest is plenteous; the laborers are few.» Let’s go to Matthew chapter 12, verses 28-30. Jesus is still talking, and the context is after He has cast out a devil and is being questioned about that by those who don’t understand what was happening. He says to them, «But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.» Then He says, «Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods unless he first binds the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.» He says, «He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters abroad.» Do me a favor, turn to somebody next to you and say, «It’s time to gather. It’s time to gather; it’s time to gather.» Time to gather; it’s time to gather. John chapter 4, verse 35 reads like this: Jesus, again talking, says, «Do you not say, ‘There are still four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest. And he who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this, the saying is true, one sows and another reaps.» «I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored.» Glory to God! Just turn to your neighbors and say, «Your harvest is waiting. Your harvest is waiting. Your harvest is waiting.» Turn to your other neighbors and say, «Your harvest is out there. Your harvest is out there! Your harvest is out there!» Jesus Christ! Oh, I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labors. Others have labored; Jesus has labored. He has gone ahead of you and made all your crooked paths straight. I’m trying to do this in order, but I feel like preaching. I feel the Spirit of God! I’m trying to behave myself and control myself, but I feel the Spirit of God. Let me pray, and maybe I’ll calm down when I pray. Father, You have gathered us here today to set us on fire. You have gathered us here today to release a prophetic utterance, God, that is going to arrest us, seize us, renew our minds, and set us ablaze. There are some things that You have placed out there for Your sons and daughters that are part of our inheritance; they are part of our promises; they belong to us. God, in the name of Jesus, we’re going to step into it today! I prophesy right now there is an army that is going to walk out of these churches, going to walk out of L.A., going to walk out of Denver. They are going to put their phones down, close their laptops, and step into everything that You have for them without hindrance, with a mind full of faith and power in the Holy Spirit, and the gates of hell will not prevail against them! Reveal Your glory in this house! Release Your glory in this place! Change us! Wow! For Your Jacob that says, «I’m not going to let You go unless You bless me!» I decree right now that we’re going to hear Your words, we’re going to believe Your words, and we’re going to move in Your words until we have gathered everything that You’ve placed out there as our inheritance, forgetting those things that are behind us and reaching forward to those things that are in front of us. We claim it right now! Oh, I feel it! No weakness, no timidity. New boldness, fresh fire, fresh power, fresh joy, fresh strength, fresh peace! New! We came in one way, but because You touched us, we’re going to leave another way! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We came in with the barely, but we’re going to leave in the spirit of the suddenly! In Jesus’ name, Amen! Amen! Hallelujah! You may be seated. Come on, isn’t it awesome to hang out with Jesus? You can’t hang out with Jesus and not be changed. When two or three are gathered together in His name, He is there!
