I spoke about revival and momentum, and if you can relate to the fact that God has been speaking to you about a fresh outpouring in your own life and what He wants to do for you just through a sound of praise and applause, then you’ve caught that word—it’s true. Okay, I’m in the right house, but I want us to be extremely real right now because basically what you’ve said to me, in the presence of your peers and all of us, is that God has spoken to you and said that it’s on, it’s on, it’s on. I want to extend an invitation right now, and here’s what the invitation is for: if you started strong when you heard that word, and that word was confirmed, you felt it, you started strong, but you’ve gotten distracted. I’m going to give you two specific things that I want you to come forward for if you need it. I want you to be honest because revival confronts us; it’s a greater dimension of God’s glory, a greater dimension of God’s presence. It can’t be manufactured; it’s authentic, it’s real. What happens is as that glory hits us, it begins to manifest and expose things that will hinder what God is trying to do in our lives. Let’s keep it all the way real. So, if there are people that you were supposed to forgive, people with whom you have ought in your heart, that presence comes and exposes it. You might try to pretend like, «Oh, well, that’s not anything, ” but deep down you know there’s something you need to deal with. Am I in the right place? Sometimes there are other issues, other things you allowed in the last season, but in this season, the Spirit of God puts it in your face. Even though you may not feel like you have the strength to overcome whatever that issue is, for some reason you’re seeing it a lot more consistently than you have before, and there’s a part of you that says, „Man, I’ve got to deal with it.“ Again, you’ve received the word of this outpouring that God is doing, and you know in your heart and spirit that it’s for you. You started running well; you came out of the gates excited, but then the Spirit of God began to show you the cost of it. The lower version of you would rather settle back into the okayness of the last season than face the giants standing between you and what God has promised—between you and what God said is already yours. If you’re in that category here tonight, and I sense there are a great number of people in that place right now, God won’t even let me move forward into the word without doing this. If you’re here and you’ve heard, you’ve received, and you know the hand of God is on your life, and it hits you, and you’ve been running well, but boom! You’re hitting some walls, hitting some terrains, you’re just hitting some stuff, and you know it. You know you can’t go forward unless you deal with it. Please meet me here at the altar right now; I want to pray for you. God’s going to break it. I’m here to tell you that nothing can stop you. We preached it Sunday: no man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Every place that the soles of your feet shall tread upon, God says He is giving to you. This promise is for you; it’s for you! I promise you it’s for you, and you’re going to get it. Let me tell you something: the only reason why you’re seeing the giant is that God has already predestined and predetermined for you to take that giant down, cut his head off, and never see it again. Deep down inside of you, you’ve always known that giant couldn’t come with you forever. Come on, somebody! You know what I’m talking about. The giant’s been hanging around, taunting you, but there’s always been a part of you that has known there was going to be a great showdown coming. So God motivates you with destiny; He motivates you with the promise of destiny. See, we were reading in Joshua, and He said, „Listen, I’m doing this; it’s going to happen. As I was with Moses, I will be with you. Every place that the soles of your feet shall tread upon, I have given you. Go and take the land.“ But what you don’t realize is that if you keep reading, they had to overcome a whole bunch of giants. Yeah, see, God can talk to you like that because He knows what He’s put in you. He can tell you that the land presently occupied by giants belongs to you because He has already pre-qualified you to take the giant down. There will always be giants on the road to destiny. He doesn’t give you a word, give you a promise, and then let you just skip into it. He gives you a promise to motivate you forward, and then He tells you, „Now listen, no man is going to be able to stand before you all the days of your life.“ Why would He say that unless there were going to be obstacles in front of you?
